Each coin is individually numbered on the edge and measures 1.5�(39mm) in diameter. To preserve the 24KT gold overlay coin, each coin is protected in a custom acrylic capsule and displayed in a black suede jewelry box. With a mintage of only 2009, the coins are each accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and are officially licensed by the NHL.
